Position: Category Sourcing LeadCompany: MTS SystemsOpenings: 1Location: Eden Prairie, MNDuration: PermanentSalary Rate: $100-130k Must Haves:• 5+ years of experience sourcing electronic, hydromechanical, mechanical, or fabrication commodities in a manufacturing environment• Ability to identify and select suppliers and negotiate contract terms• Knowledge of quality management systems• Bachelor's degree in business, economics, supply chain, or engineering• Excellent leadership and problem solving skills• Must work onsite in Eden Prairie, MN Plusses:• Government contract experience (strongly preferred)• Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt• APICS, CPIM, or other supply chain management certifications• SAP knowledge Day to Day: Insight Global is looking for a Category Sourcing Lead to join one of our largest testing and simulation clients. This highly analytical individual will be responsible for the strategic sourcing of various electronic, hydromechanical, mechanical, and fabrication commodities. They will identify and negotiate contracts with suppliers and manage their performances. This individual must be an excellent leader and work cross. This is an onsite position based out of Eden Prairie, MN.
