Job Description:

A renowned medical organization is looking to immediately hire several Full-time and part-time highly experienced, and compassionate Certified Medical assistants in Paramus, NJ. The CMA candidate must have at least 3 years of experience and Phlebotomy Certification. The organization offers $20-$25 per hour, plus hefty employment packages including paid time off (PTO), medical, and malpractice insurance.Responsibilities:Perform clinical duties such as rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, and documenting medical histories accurately and comprehensively,Assist healthcare providers during examinations, procedures, and treatments, ensuring patient comfort and safety,Perform phlebotomy procedures, collect blood specimens, and process samples for laboratory testing,Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and ensure proper handling and disposal of biohazardous materials,Prepare and administer medications as directed by healthcare providers, ensuring accurate dosage and proper documentation,Conduct and document patient education on various women's health topics, including contraception, prenatal care, and preventive screenings,Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and handling billing and insurance-related tasks,Maintain and update medical equipment and supplies, ensuring inventory levels are adequate for smooth clinical operations,Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary healthcare team, including physicians, nurses, and administrative staff, to provide coordinated and comprehensive care,Adhere to HIPAA guidelines, always maintain patient confidentiality, andParticipate in ongoing professional development activities to stay updated on the latest advancements and best practices in women's health.Qualifications: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification is required,Phlebotomy Certification is required,3 years of experience working as a CMA in a clinical setting, preferably in women's health,Strong knowledge of women's health services, including gynecology, obstetrics, reproductive health, and family planning,Proficiency in performing phlebotomy procedures and handling blood specimens,Excellent clinical skills, including accurate documentation, vital signs measurement, and medical history-taking.Familiarity with medical terminology, electronic medical records (EMR), and basic medical coding, andWillingness to collaborate as part of a team and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.ScheduleWeekday plus some weekendsJob Type:Full-time.Pay level:$20-$25 per hour.Benefits:Health, Dental, and Vision insurance,21 days PTO per year, andMalpractice insurance.Work location:On the center, Paramus-NJ
