The Librarian will be responsible for library collection management and development.Develop the collection of print and electronic information resources by selecting, de-selecting, developing, and cataloging, classifying library resources.Review and evaluate materials using book reviews and faculty recommendations for selecting print, electronic, audio-visual resources.Develop special collections: theology and music collection.QualificationsExpertise in Library Science and Library ManagementLibrary Science Degree (e.g. MLSMLIS)Understanding of Library Information Systems and familiarity with available resourcesRelevant skills and qualifications that would be beneficial include experience with cataloging and supervising staff.This is a hybrid role with some work from home opportunity but the role is primarily located in Lexington, MO.
