Job Description:

We are seeking a Manufacturing Maintenance Manager to join our maintenance department. The successful candidate will have a strong electrical background but also possess a high level of mechanical ability. This individual must have strong leadership skills and have experience managing a maintenance department. We will not consider candidate who do not meet all requirements.The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for all aspects of executing planned and unplanned work in hisher department and assigning work to ensure optimum equipment reliability and productivity. In addition, this individual is responsible for the maintenance, installation, troubleshoot, and modification of new and existing industrial equipment. This individual seeks to continuously improve the methods, documentation and systems.This position will work out of our manufacturing facility in Orlando, FL.Primary managerial responsibilities include: Manage the workflow of team members and maintenance projects to ensure that targets and deadlines are metPromote the concepts of teamwork, communicating across departments and with all team members to translate work requirements into clear and achievable plansWork directly with vendors, contractors, maintenance and purchasing to plan, prioritize and schedule maintenance workLead change and implementation of system processes require to achieve maintenance objectives which directly support manufacturing excellenceWorks with department to improve the maintenance program to increase utilization andor decrease costsDevelop and continuously improve the preventative, predictive, and condition-based maintenance monitoring programs for all equipmentAdhere to all safety rules and regulations as well as following lockout, tag-out proceduresPrimary maintenance functions and knowledge required are: AC and DC motors and drivesPLC and relay logic controls in various manufacturing equipmentEquipment communications protocolsElectrical power distribution systemsPneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systemsInstalling and repairing electrical systems, apparatus, and electrical and electronic components of industrial machinery and equipmentFollow electrical code, manuals, schematic diagrams, blueprints and other specificationsPlan, layout and placement of machinery and equipment requiring assembly with precision, alignment and fittingDrill holes in concrete, cut steel, and use masonry anchors (grinders and other power tools)Welding experience is preferredTo be successful, you will need:A High School Degree or GED5+ years managing a maintenance department5+ years of experience as an Industrial Electrician2+ years of experience as an Industrial MechanicMust be familiar with the following systems: pneumatic, electronic, electric, hydraulic, compressed air, motor and mechanicalExperience in a manufacturingindustrial environment requiredAbility to lift 50+ poundsAbility to adapt to environmental changes and work conditions; such as temperature, noise, and working for extended periods of time without interruption
