The Mullings Group, located in Delray Beach, FL, is looking for an Accounting Intern to join the team. This is ideal for a student looking for a longer-term part-time opportunity while attending school. This is a 6-12 month internship, beginning immediately. This is not a summer or short-term internship. You must live within a commutable distance of Delray Beach and have reliable transportation.Opportunity Overview:As an Accounting Intern at TMG, you have an exceptional opportunity to receive training and mentorship and learn the inner workings of accounting for a businessfrom our Delray Beach, Florida headquarters. You will partner closely with our team to provide support with financial analysis and general accounting while working directly with our Chief Financial Officer and Accounting team.This is an ideal position for a university or graduate student majoring in finance, accounting, or business. Our ideal person is seeking a 6-12 month internship (this is not a summer-only internship). More about the Role:This position will be limited to 20 hours per week, flexible with school schedules.This is an onsite position; no remote positions will be considered.Responsibilities:Provide general accounting support.Assist with month-end close.Engage professionally with internal and external stakeholders on projects to completion.Qualifications:Current Undergrad or Graduate student with a major in finance, accounting, or business.Eager to learn.Proven track record of excellence in academics, sports, clubs, or activities - "Will to Win."Excellent communication skills, both written and verbalProficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft ExcelUnderstanding of QuickBooks a plus, great opportunity to learnStrong multitasker and can work well under pressure.Must be authorized to work in the U.S.If this sounds like you, we look forward to hearing from you.
