Job Description:

Responsibilities:Assist in the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP and other relevant regulations.Support the VP of Finance in developing and maintaining financial forecasts, budgets, and variance analysis to assess the fund's performance and make strategic decisions.Monitor cash flows, manage banking relationships, and oversee cash disbursements and receipts to ensure adequate liquidity and optimize investment returns.Coordinate internal and external audits, liaise with auditors, and ensure compliance with regulatory filings, tax requirements, and investor reporting obligations.Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes, enhance internal controls, and implement best practices to optimize efficiency and scalability as the fund grows.Assist the finance team and senior management with special projects, financial analysis, and other tasks as assigned to support the strategic objectives of the venture capital fund.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or progress towards CPA certification preferred.5+ years of relevant experience in public accounting, corporate finance, or venture capitalprivate equity accounting.Prior experience in public accounting strongly preferred37415
