For more information, visit .Who You AreSomeone who is highly organizedSomeone who is able to juggle multiple things at onceSomeone who is reliable and has a "no task too small" attitudeSomeone who can keep calm under high pressure situationsAbout The RoleResponsible for performing general maintenance tasks, including but not limited to: install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain facilities equipment; cleaning of physical plant and its facilities, warehouse, and offices; and plumbing, mechanical, tool usage, assigned tasksprojects, etc.Essential Roles & ResponsibilitiesReports to the Facilities SupervisorKeep the venue safe and clean at all times, including but not limited to: clean and disinfect all fixtures, floors, mirrors, doors and walls of restrooms; keep all guest facing areas free of trash; stock restrooms and other appropriate areas with suppliesDiagnose problems, replacerepair parts, and test for necessary adjustmentsPerform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilitiesPerform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functionsUse a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment to perform dutiesSet up barricades, pipe n drape, and steel deck for box officeguest list, guest merchandise, coat check areas, and smoking areas based on logistics for specified eventResponsible for venue storage, organization, and cleanlinessPerform walkthroughs of the venue to check for R&M needs and any safety or compliance issuesEnsure physical plant is compliant to mitigate potential safety hazards for employees and patronsDuring the winter, maintain heaters, generators, pipes, etc; responsible for snow removal Ensure all combustible materials are stored and used safelyResponsible for weekly maintenance of doorsRun Of Show Roles & ResponsibilitiesRespond and address operations' needs; assist production, if neededResponsible for R&M needs during event, ensure issues are addressed in a safe and timely mannerMaintain parking lot for cleanlinessEnsures site lighting is sufficientFrequent walkarounds to check with each departmentRequirementsRequires a high school diplomaGED and completion of a craft apprenticeship or an equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experienceAn AA degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance, a plusMust be highly motivated and able to work independentlyMust be willing to work long shifts, including overnight shiftsMust be able to move, pull, carry or lift at least 50 poundsHourly rate for this role is $25.
