Essential Duties and Responsibilities Serve as point of contact for assigned Practice Groups and OfficesWork with Firm management to analyze revenue, profitability and key driversWork with relationship partners to help them understand their book of business and provide financial analysis and support for client meetings and rate negotiationsModel prospective engagements an pricing scenariosCalculate and report historic and projected profitability dataResponsible for all clientmatter reporting tools - ensure data is correct and meaningful and related reports are accurateUtilize various reporting systemsdatabases to prepare periodic reports which consolidate financial data for Firm's clients, practice areas and service linesProvide accurate and relevant financial reports requested by managementPrepare financial presentations used by management throughout the yearWork with Billing to ensure rates are properly applied and to understand how specific timekeepers are being reportedAdvise on technical accounting issues to ensure proper mapping of time and billing transactionsDevelop and mentor professional team.
