This is a seasonal role from April 2024 through October 2024.Essential Roles & ResponsibilitiesReports to the Senior F&B ManagerLead, perform, and prioritize however necessary to support the F&B department and overall business objectives and goalsManage F&B staff during events, ensuring breaks are taken, assisting with service, and transferring or cutting staff as event needs changeEnsure all DOH, SLA, OSHA, and any other applicable standards are being met, conducting spot-inspections prior to and throughout the eventOversee sidework, setup, breakdown, and inventory of bars and table service areas during eventsLead pre-shift meetings, as assigned, communicating event specific information, management directives, etcEnsure standards of conduct are being followed; staff morale, diversity and inclusivity practices, and positive work environment are always held to the highest standardsTrack employee performance to ensure all staff are meeting department standards and issue corrective actions if neededAssist with training new staffMaintain cleanliness and organization of all workspaces, food court, bars, table service areas, and storageCoordinate with Artist Relations on hospitality rider requestsUtilize Billfold, Google Drive,ClickUp, Prism, and other applications required for gathering and disseminating informationContribute to the development and maintenance of departmental SOPsAd hoc projects and light administrative duties as assignedQualifications3-4 years in food and beverage operationsservice in venues, stadiums, arenas, hospitality industry, or equivalentExperience working in high-volume, fast-paced environments, a mustPositive, upbeat leadership style; able to problem solve under pressure while maintaining high degree of professionalismMust have weekend availabilityMust have NYC Food Protection CertificateBartending experience preferredExperience with POS systems preferred (Billfold andor Toast POS experience a plus!)Physical RequirementsMust be able to work long shifts, including overnightMust be able to lift 40lbsMust be able to work standing for extended periodsCompensationThe hourly rate for the position is $30-$35 per hour
