We are hiring a Staff or Senior Accountant to join our team to further support our businesses continued growth. In this role, you can expect to be involved in general accounting operations including performing month-end close tasks including recording journal entries, completing P&L and balance sheet variance analysis for assigned accounts or cost centers, completing balance sheet reconciliations and assisting with annual and airport operating permit audits. Responsibilities: Assist with month end closing process, which includes preparing supporting documentation and posting journal entries and completing account reconciliation. Reconcile the fixed asset system against the general ledger to ensure proper fixed asset accounting including asset creation, transfers, and disposals Monthly reconciliation of AP and AR subledgers to the general ledger Assist with preparing supporting schedules for various audits including annual audit and operating permit audits Responsible for identifying, gatheringextracting, and analyzing data related to assigned areas Interact frequently with operations management and finance partners across the company to develop relationships to maximize results. Point of contact for certain vendors and customers, solving problems and maintaining positive relationships. Prepare and present various reports including monthly gross receipts reports for the Company's operating permits as well as assisting the Financial Reporting Manager, Controller or others with information needed for monthly financial reporting. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting CPA or CPA Track a plus At least 3 years of relevant experience Great attention to detail and organization skills. Ability to manage time and meet deadlines Successful candidate will be able to demonstrate working knowledge of NetSuite, Blackline, Excel, and Word
