Job Description:

My client is seeking a Project Engineer II to join their team and oversee the development and implementation of equipment and installations within capital projects for their manufacturing plants. You will collaborate with Project Managers to ensure successful project delivery in terms of Scope, Cost, Schedule, and communication. This is a temp to hire position.Responsibilities include:Assisting in the evaluation and development of capital packagesDeveloping initial designs and layouts, and expanding them into detailed plansSupporting project engineers on assigned projects for safe, timely, and budget-friendly installationsAnalyzing project requirements, performing technical calculations, and supporting continuous improvement initiativesParticipating in the startup and commissioning of equipmentEnsuring efficient project transfer to the Operations teamRequired qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar field3+ years of experience in industrial manufacturingPractical experience in piping system design and applicationAbility to read engineering drawings and experience with various equipment installationsProficiency in AutoCAD and MS ProjectPreferred qualifications include operational site and project execution experience.
