ABECO Construction is seeking a construction site superintendent to oversee a large scale commercial project with high end finishes.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site, Site Superintendent role located in New York, NY. The Site Superintendent will oversee all daily operations at a construction site, ensuring the project is completed within budget and on time. Key responsibilities include supervising all on-site activities, managing staff, subcontractors, and contractors, planning and scheduling work activities, ensuring regulatory compliance, maintaining a safe work environment, and communicating effectively with project stakeholders.QualificationsBachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or another relevant field, or relevant experience in construction management10 or more years of experience in construction , including at least 5 years of experience as a superintendentExcellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsExperience with ProCore Excellent knowledge of building codes and regulationsStrong safety record and knowledge of OSHA regulationsAbility to read and interpret blueprints and project specificationsStrong organizational and time management skillsAbility to work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders, including architects, engineers, owners, and subcontractorsNYC Site Supers License a plus
