With locations and customers all over the world, Optima Machinery Corporation designs and builds packaging and filling machines including complete production lines for pharmaceutical, consumer, nonwovens and life science products.To learn more, click here: Points:Remote workTravel an average of 210 days a year (International included but limited)Most travel is M-FrPays for no assignment days, including flight delaysThis is a mechanical job working in manufacturing settingsWhat You'll Do:Install, commission, and troubleshoot new OPTIMA pharma equipment from Europe or the US at customer sitesPerform maintenance, repair, inspection, and auditing on mechanical and electrical componentsTravel to customer sites as requested by customer or managementFollow blueprints, electrical codes, schematics, and manuals both on-site and in-houseInstall new format components per customer specification, including wiring and conduit, and connect power to the machineAssist with in-house assembly and related activitiesProvide excellent customer service and represent OPTIMA at the highest levelDisplay time management skills for project and daily tasksUse written and oral communication with customers and colleaguesPrepare and submit service reports, expense reports, and timesheets to the respective departmentsDemonstrate to customer maintenance and operator staff how to properly use equipmentFollow instructions and complete duties as requested by supervisorWhat You'll Need:An Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year technical school in Electro-Mechanical Technology or 5 years previous experience maintaining Pharmaceutical Packaging EquipmentSAP experience idealApproximately 70-80% travel to Europe, Canada and within the USValid Driver's License & Passport is required
