First Quality focuses on private label and branded product lines.As the Operations Leader for First Quality's Print & Packaging site, you will have responsibility for the following areas: Extrusion Hall, Press Hall, Pre-Press, Ink Systems, Recycling Hall, Warehouse, Maintenance and Reliability and own the P&L and budgeting process within the facility.Principal Accountabilities Responsibilities:Create a safe and clean environment for all employees that meets and exceeds leading standards.Maximize uptime, minimize scrap and reduce overall cost that creates the most effective and efficient manufacturing environment.Implement KPIs using available data and systems to track progress real time.Create an environment where people are engaged and motivated.Ensure we are proficient with our maintenance and reliability efforts.Provide leadership to support the company's growth.Support sales growth through operational efficiency while minimizing complexity.Qualifications education and experience requirements:Minimum of 10 years of manufacturing leadership experienceSpecific experience in engineering and operations roles, preferably within the flexible packaging industry with a focus on film extrusion, recycling, and printing.Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required; advanced degree preferred.Lean Manufacturing experience highly preferred.Skills requirements:PL experience including budget development, cost, and variance analysis.Ability to manage timelines and balance multiple deadlines.Demonstrated leadership, communications, and analytical skills.Highly collaborative and team oriented with the ability to build a strong team and focus all on eliminating complexities from the manufacturing environment.Strong problem solver with excellent communication skills to speak clearly and persuasively.Highly customer focused and collaborative - both internally & externallyProficient with quality and process improvement tools and techniques such as SPCSQC, TPM, and Six SigmaPeople coaching and development experience required to meet current and future business requirements efficiently, while also accomplishing career development and petenciesAbility to establish trust with customers.Time Management skillsStrong effective communication skillsCritical thinking skillsAbility to collaborate across the organizationFirst Quality is committed to protecting information under the care of First Quality Enterprises commensurate with leading industry standards and applicable regulations.
