As we continue to rapidly grow, we have a career opportunity available for a talented and motivated individual to join our Taylor Farms New Jersey team as Warehouse Manager.JOB SUMMARY:Reporting to the Senior Warehouse Manager, the Warehouse Manager is responsible for the safe, accurate and timely receiving and storage of all inbound product. The Warehouse Manager is also responsible for the timely and accurate loading and dispatch of outbound freight. In addition, the Warehouse Manager oversees the single unit selection process for a specific customer. Responsible for development of Warehouse Supervisors through hands on training as well as soft skill and leadership development. Work closely upstream with production and procurement departments.Key deliverables include:Ensure proper use of both warehouse management system and ERP system for systematic and physical put away and movement of items.Optimize utilization of available storage space.Manage allergen storage compliance.Responsible for interviewing, hiring, training, coaching, developing and managing performance for all warehouse employees.Monitor a variety of operational data (mispicks, dumps, inventory accuracy metrics, on time departures, single unit selection upm and accuracy etc.) and recommend changes to the Sr. Warehouse Manager to produce zero-error benchmark on accuracy and customer satisfaction.Oversee the maintenance of the physical condition of the warehouse and its equipment in compliance with OSHA requirements.Ensure proper rotation of raw and Add-Ins, on-site and terface with Receiving, Scheduling, Logistics, Purchasing and Production to optimize operational flow.Ensure daily execution of order fulfilment and customer shipments.Ensure required order fulfilment, accuracy levels, and shipping deadlines are achieved.Maintain and improve procedures to track and measure productivity and efficiency including accuracy, throughput, and quality.Meet warehouse and single unit selection labor targets and budgets.Consistently communicate and drive accountability around expectations and standards to all team members.Maintain a clean, clear, and organized work environment, adhere to the company's good manufacturing practices.Ensure accurate inventory levels and product rotation.Always leads from the floor.QualificationsSkills and Abilities:High school diploma or GED equivalent degree required; college degree preferred.A minimum of five years' experience in warehouse supervision required.Food distribution, or similar large operations management industry experience a strong preference.Ability to interpret financial and operational data.Basic computer skills; and general MS Office experience.Familiarity with inventory control, OSHA, HACCP, and other regulatory requirements.ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system and other WMS (Warehouse Management System) experience is required.Strong leadership, communication, and people development skills.Broad knowledge of warehouse operations, methods, and procedures.Bilingual strongly preferred.
