Job Description:

City Wide Facility Solutions is growing and needs to add more Maintenance TechsHandymen to handle general facility repairs, preventive maintenance, and minor construction projects at City Wide managed buildings throughout Central Maryland.Responsibilities - just a partial list:Perform maintenance and light repairsPaint and fill gaps or crevices (on walls, sidewalks etc.)Undertake light installation or carpentry (e.g. build cabinets, shelves)Repair equipment or appliancesPerform minor fixes such as repairing broken locks, filling gaps on walls etcInstall appliances and equipmentInspect places and conduct repairs or maintenancePrepare walls and other surfaces for painting by scraping, using sandpaper, removing old paint etc. and finish paintingReplace light fixtures and or ballasts; other minor electrical workDrywall repairFurniture assemblyRequirementsProven experience as handymanExperience with hardware tools and electrical equipmentBasic understanding of electrical, plumbing or HVAC systemsBasic math skillsGood communication abilityWell-organized and good at problem-solvingAttention to detailHigh school diploma or equivalentProficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers etc.)Aptitude in using appropriate tools (brushes, caulk guns etc.)Must possess vehicle, basic hand and power toolsBenefitsCity Wide offers a competitive comp program that rewards talented employees for solid performance.
