Forge Health's clinical team is a group of mental health and substance use treatment professionals specializing in providing comprehensive behavioral health services for individuals in a variety of settings. As a leading provider of behavioral health services, we are seeking skilled professionals of the highest caliber that share our commitment to provide state-of-the-art psychiatric services.The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Manager works under the supervision of the Chief of Integrated Care & Psychiatric Services and is responsible for the delivery of psychiatric care in the Forge Health facilities located in New York and New Jersey (North). In this role, the Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Manager will have a unique opportunity to provide direct clinical care and supervise all medical staff (nurse practitioners) in these facilities, ensuring that the care they provide is of the highest quality and compliant with all relevant regulatory requirements. The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Manager will also have an important role in the development and implementation of novel clinical services in their region.What you will be doing:Program Development and SupervisionAs senior member of the clinical team, establishes a close working relationship with their medical staff.Ensures that the medical staff complies with all relevant Forge Health policies as well as all administrative requirements for clinical documentation and billing.Provides ongoing clinical supervision to the medical team, including facilitating regular case conferences and being available for curbside consultations.Identifies, develops, evaluates, and implements new evidence-based treatment modalities of the highest-quality that supports the needs of the populations we serve to promote health and wellness while also promoting growth of the program and the brand.Partners with senior leadership to develop training and programming to deliver high quality and effective psychiatric, substance use, IOP and OP services.Partners with senior leadership to develop and implement integrated behavioral health programs in partnership with other medical specialties.Partners with the senior leadership to develop training and education programs for local and regional partners.Creates programs and initiatives that address socialeconomichealth inequalities using Population Health tools and strategies for the communities that we pletes Quality Assurance activities.Clinical ResponsibilitiesEstablishes and modifies medical treatment plans.Conducts psychiatric examinations and prescribes pharmacotherapy andor psychotherapy.Administers and interprets screenings and tests.Participates in staff conferences and recommends appropriate treatment approaches.Assists in developing and organizing a program of clinical treatment.Directs case conferences. Serves as a consultant to other clinic staff.Assists through consultation in establishing psychiatric programs and policies.Prepares psychiatric reports, if pletes other duties as assigned.Maintain all necessary logs required for administrative plete relevant state-required work for clients on your caseload.Participate as a member of a multidisciplinary team assigned to the client and participate in case management municate with family members, attorneys, EAPS, doctors, or other outside resources, as needed, within provision of consent to release documents, and document all communications.May be consulted with for matters related to documents of a potentially legal nature like releases of information, contracting for safety, etc.Provide crisis intervention and other functions as needed.Perform other duties as assigned.Requirements: Must possess a valid Nurse Practitioner license in NY andor NJ, with Psychiatric Certification required2+ years of leadership experience in providing clinical and administrative supervision to other mental health providers.Must possess Prescriptive AuthorityCompetent at diagnosing and treating the full range of psychiatric conditions in the Outpatient setting.Additional training in addiction psychiatry is preferred but not required.Possession of a valid state driver's license may be required.
