Marcone Supply is a solution-oriented organization offering the highest level of customer care and solutions to all levels of the appliance parts, plumbing, and HVAC industries.As a Territory Managerwith Marcone Plumbing, you will be responsible for calling on new and existing assigned customers for purposes of sales growth, promotional activities, new product introduction, problem resolution, customer training, and developing the dealer's business. This role is responsible for territory saturation and sales growth through excellence in customer service and utilization of company sales tools and systems. This role calls on customers independently, with the sales manager, in person and via phone calls. Additionally, this role reports on market competition and other territory sales influences.The Territory Manager will cover our Indianapolis, IN territory for our Marcone Plumbing division.Requirements & DutiesProvides excellent customer service through consistent and timely customer interaction, problem resolution or escalation with effective and efficient follow-upEffectively communicates with assigned customers through direct purposeful sales calls, phone calls, texts, fax, email, mail, and other means as requiredConducts personal interactions with customers representative of a company with strong, ethical standardsResponsible for growth of new accounts and customer relationship development within the assigned territoryResponsible for sales penetration of assigned base customer accounts and customer relationship maintenanceResponsible for contacting all assigned customers monthly notifying them of essential information pertaining to products, promotions, changes in the company, training, and sales performanceEngages in Sufficient Cold Calling Activities in order to maintain an adequate customer pipelineSufficiently develops and maintains customer opportunity pipelines to a size that will support assigned new business goalsExpertly demonstrates the ability to successfully close sales opportunitiesExpertly demonstrates the ability to create detailed, organized and complete sales presentations designed to increase salesCapable of presenting information in front of large groups of peopleDemonstrates the knowledge needed to help a customer grow their business through sales processes, understanding financials, creating programs, properly pricing jobs, and incorporating financing in their businessDemonstrates the ability to makes critical, difficult decisions in matters of importance when appropriatePromptly and accurately schedules all appointments in current systemDemonstrates organization, discipline and follow through of administrative functionsSafeguards the release of proprietary information, company documents and other confidential data and informationRegularly submits complete and accurate mileage and expense reports on timePresents marketing programs to customers that include promotions, flyers, specials, training, and other programs as directedDemonstrates proficiency and knowledge in all marketing programs, promotions, and support available from all vendorsCompletes pricing studies as requiredDemonstrates knowledge of company product lines with proficiency and detailMaintains a personal library of sales and technical materials for all product linesAssists in collection of outstanding accounts receivable when directedDemonstrates proficiency in the proper use of the company CRM and adheres to following company procedures and directives in the use of the systemDemonstrates proficiency in vendor computer programsDemonstrates proficiency in the proper use of company ERP systemTravel as neededAttends training sessions as requiredDevelop and maintain a thorough knowledge of company productsSeek out new business opportunitiesBuild and maintain deeper customer relationshipsCommunicate effectively to Director, Regional Sales on activities, progress goals, and prospective customersOther duties as assignedQualificationsHigh school diploma and some college coursework in Business or related field3 or more years' experience with HVAC (MRO parts sale experience)Business-to-business sales (B2B) or technical backgroundPlumbing industry knowledge not required, but a plus!Positive and engaging personality with a passion to help othersDemonstrated knowledge of MS Office suite applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Aptitude for mathematical operations and numerical analysisTech SavvySelf-starterAmbitious and competitiveStandard outside sales requirement of ability to lift up to 50 lbs, if necessaryReliable transportation and currentvalid driver's license What's in it for you?
