Job Description:

Jacobs Levy Equity Management, located in Florham Park, NJ, is seeking a Windows System Administrator. This position is focused on managing our corporate network, servers, and virtual desktop infrastructure. The successful candidate will play an important role in our Information Technology team and work on many advanced technologies. Primary Responsibilities include:Assist in managing IT Infrastructure operations (PhysicalVirtual Servers, Networking Connectivity, Storage Network, VDI Help Desk Support, Daily Backup, VOIP Phone System).Install and upgrade servers following established guidelines.Responsible for production and all operational aspects of the on-prem and AWS cloud infrastructure.Maintain IT documentation when changes are made; assist in the development of IT strategic plans; develop IT plans and recommendations for management.Coordinate and implement off-hours server patch management.Monitor and review EDRXDR alerts (events, security, and firewall, etc.) and resolve related issues. Respond to user's help desk requests and keep them informed through problem resolution. Properly document the tasks performed to resolve each municate with vendors to troubleshoot, fix, upgrade, and improve hardware and software. Requirements include:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related engineering field, Master's degree a plus.2+ years of experience with VMWare.2+ years of experience in managing networks, Windows system administration and desktop support.1+ years of experience in storage area network.Experience with AWS Cloud a plus.Willing to manage help desk issues.Ability to monitor technology changes and security information.Strong technical understanding of network architectural principles.Ability to balance and prioritize multiple projects and requests, meet deadlines, and produce accurate results in fast-paced environment.Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team and provide support to end users.Jacobs Levy Equity Management focuses exclusively on managing equity portfolios for institutional clients.
