Our clients are committed to making a better and more equitable world, and they inspire us every day. Adler & Colvin has an opening in our San Francisco office for a new member of our secretarial team. We are looking for the following basic requirements: Five years of experience as a corporate legal secretaryKnowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, document management, and attorney timekeeping software, with a minimum typing speed of 60 wpm with 80% accuracyExperience in basic Internet researchHigh school diplomaA day in the life of a legal secretary: An ability to manage many complex and small projects in a deadline-driven environmentProven organizational skills Excellent verbal and written communication skillsAn extremely high level of accuracy and attention to detailSuperior ability to fulfill internal and external client needs with courtesy and respectAn ability to approach problems with a sense of ownership, enthusiasm and innovation in a collaborative, team environmentAn ability to work occasional overtime as neededIf you are hired, we will require you to prove that you have received the COVID-19 vaccine or have a valid religious or medical reason not to be vaccinated.Employment is contingent on a satisfactory criminal background screen. Adler & Colvin contributes generously toward the employee cost of group medical coverage. Dental & Vision Plans: Adler & Colvin pays 100% of dental vision premiums. Basic LifeAD&D and Long-Term Disability Insurance: Adler & Colvin pays 100% of the premiums. Retirement: 401(k) Profit Sharing Plan. Under the Safe Harbor provisions of the Plan, the firm contributes 5% total gross compensation up to the allowable maximum for the 401(k) part of the plan. The Profit-Sharing provisions are subject to end-of-year calculations.
