We would love to collaborate with you and help more kids journey towards their full potential.The certified teacher will work in a unique outpatient treatment center, which involves working with adolescent students in a small classroom setting and supporting them academically with common core subjects while they are receiving treatment.Essential functions of the job may include but are not limited to the following:Plan, prepare and deliver daily lesson plans and instructional material for an average of 8 students within each groupHelp students one-on-one if extra assistance is needed on their individual school curriculumUse relevant technology to support and differentiate instructionCommunicate necessary information regularly to students, hospital and parents regarding student progress and student needsEncourage and monitor the progress of individual students and use information to adjust teaching strategiesUpdating daily attendance and creating daily session reports for each studentPosition entails a 20 hour a week commitment, 4 hours a day.
