Your new role You will work on diverse solid waste management projects, taking them from conceptual planning to delivery, design, and construction support. You'll manage multiple projects at one time, interacting with clients at project sites. As a Senior Project Manager (and potential future Department Leader), you'll mentor project teams, foster a positive working environment, and provide technical guidance on solid waste management and landfill solutions. Ideally you have existing relationships established in this market and can develop new relationships, supporting BD Proposal efforts to increase their presence in this space. What you'll need to succeedYou will need 10+ years of experience and a strong understanding of both the construction and engineering sides of environmental land fill projects. Key skills include the ability to oversee multiple solid waste management projects, landfill management, landfill gas collection system optimization and environmental regulatory compliance. Additionally, as the most senior personnel you will interact with clients, contribute to proposals and local market growth, perform hydraulic modeling, and ensure environmental regulatory compliance.A Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related field.A Licensed Professional Engineer (NJ, NY andor PA) Experience with project management software | MS Office 365 | AutoDesk's AutoCAD | Esri's | ArcGIS.Membership and active participation in professional societies and associations in the solid waste andor environmental fieldsActive participation in business development activities and the HAZWOPER Training & Medical Monitoring ProgramWhat you'll get in return Bouncing off the stellar industry reputation this firm has in the New Jersey Market, you'll have a unique opportunity to Influence the solid waste department and establish strategies for client-focused solid waste and landfill solutions.
