The Financial Advisor we choose will be intelligent, articulate, pleasant, dependable and brings a great attitude to work every day.Job DescriptionFinancial Advisors work closely with the Lead Advisor in a marketplace to interact with a new and existing regional client base in order to complete all service requests related to opening and maintaining financial accounts. This may include but is not limited to new account paperwork, beneficiary changeswithdrawals, account reallocations, incoming service calls, database management, appointment preparation including updating client account summaries for review meetings, prepping Senior advisors for client meetings, sales report preparation and preparing issued accounts and contracts for delivery.ResponsibilitiesTasks:The Financial Advisor will serve as a relationship manager for an existing group of clients and will work alongside the Lead Advisor in the market to provide advice and guidance to help clients achieve their goals. They will be expected to follow-through consistently in all efforts, build relationships with prospects and clients, and help prepare for client appointments. Other daily, weekly, andor monthly tasks may include:Interact professionally with clients by phone andor in person to update the client's profile and financial situationneedsComplete service requests, resolve client issues and keep CRM updated by entering detailed notesReview existing Annuity, Life, Long Term Care andor Disability insurance policies to determine if they still meet client needsMeets production targets that impact overall company revenue goals.Prepare client reports and review summary for upcoming appointmentsAssist with client reports, mailings and in setting client appointmentsAssist with New Business processing & review documents prior to submissionAdditional tasks as assigned by managementMinimum Requirements:4-year degree in Accounting, Finance or related fieldSeries 65 or 766 with Life & Health LicensesCFP (Certified Financial Planner) designation2-7 years in financial services offering investment management and insurance servicesSales experience within the financial services industryStrong experience with MS Office and the ability to learn new software quicklyExcellent written and verbal communications skills both in person and via phoneProactive mentality, positive attitude and consistent follow throughHighly intelligent, strong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to work independently with good time management and critical thinking skills***Please note that some travel to Indianapolis will be requiredAdditional preferred skills:Experience with SalesForce CRM software2+ years working in a fast-paced office environmentCommitment: 40 hours per week, 8am-5pm with some flexibility on days and times due to client appointment and evening event pensation: Starting salary range is $90,000-115,000 with a 3-year target compensation of $120,000 which includes bonuses based on new business generated and having or attaining the CFP® designation.
