Robert Half Legal is partnering with an esteemed law firm in Indianapolis that is seeking a proficient Paralegal who has background in real estatecorporate matters. This role is fully onsite in Indianapolis.Responsibilities:Assist in a variety of real estate transactions including, but not limited to the reviewingnoting upon, drafting andor preparing of documents for acquisitions, sales, leases, disputes of commercial, residential and farm ground.Assist in a variety of business transactions including, but not limited to, establishing entities with the Secretary of State, filing entity reports, obtaining EINs, draftingreviewingnoting upon corporate documents, reviewing contracts, assisting with business and contract disputes.Generate pertinent legal documentation such as lease agreements, purchase contracts, real estate closing documents, and business documents with attorney instruction.Regularly liaise and work collaboratively with attorneys, clients, title companies, co-counsel attorneys and opposing counsel to support a broad portfolio of ongoing cases.Undertake research related to real estate, and business matters.Review, analyze and summarize real estate and business legal documents for attorney review.Assist with the closing of transactions, including organizing closing schedules and drafting necessary documents.Prepare and file legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, and other court filings, adhering to prescribed timelines and procedures.Assist in the coordination and scheduling of meetings, hearings, and court appearances, and helping maintain responsible attorney's calendar.Provide administrative support to attorneys, including managing calendars, organizing files, and coordinating travel arrangements.Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic and physical case files, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with record-keeping protocols.Qualifications:Minimum of 5 years of paralegal experience in real estatebusiness law matters.Bachelor's degree and paralegal certification preferred.Thorough knowledge of real estate and business law, transactional procedures, and terminology.Proficiency in legal research methodologies and the use of online legal databases.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex legal concepts to attorneys and clients.Proficiency in using legal case management software and Microsoft Office Suite.Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders.High degree of professionalism, integrity, and discretion when dealing with sensitive and confidential information.Position comes with a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits package, and a motivating environment.
