TechFlow Inc. has an opportunity for a Configuration Manager with experiencein application development and sustainment activities for existing Department of Defense (DoD) systems in AWS and Azure cloud environments. The ideal candidate will help our cross-functional team to provide life cycle support for the Enterprise Logistics Readiness Portfolio, Cargo and Personnel Movement Product Line Family of Systems at Maxwell AFB-Gunter Annex, AL. They will have the knowledge and experience to lead and manage all system configuration management (CM) activities for the assigned systems, including documenting and auditing baselines, establishing status accounting procedures, and training project personnel on CM processes as needed. Effective communication, coordination and collaboration with multiple stakeholders are a must to maintain and enhance systemproduct capabilities, gain efficiencies and improvements, continue quick and effective issue resolution, and ensure production systems remain operational.Key ResponsibilitiesResponsible for and conducts system configuration management activities across all assigned programs and delivered productsDocuments, maintains, reviews (at least annually), properly coordinates, and distributes updates for the assigned systemsEstablishes and maintains a configuration baseline library, and access proceduresProvides CI numbering schema and identifies all deliverable software products, support tools, documents, etc. under configuration controlEstablishes status accounting proceduresTrains project personnel as needed on established CM process and proceduresAudits program baselines and CM activities prior to software releaseParticipates in program reviewsDistributes Interface Requirements Agreement (IRA) tracker to functionals for updatesTrack status and coordinate annual reviews of IRAsEnsures version control of all software products is maintained during all government software testingMaintains, tracks and coordinates ProblemDeficiency Reports (PDR), Security Problem Reports (SPRs), System Advisory Notices (SANs), and Software Release PackagesRequirementsBachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical area. Master's degree may substitute for 2 years' experienceExperience: 4+ years' (minimum) in a combination of the following areas of expertise: Conducting system configuration management activities across all assigned programs and delivered products Developing and maintaining a Configuration Baseline and Configuration Item numbering schema Auditing Program baselines and CM activities Tracking status and coordinating annual reviews of IRAs Maintaining version control of all related software products Working in an Agile Development and sustainment environment Experienced with appropriate task order related tools (or equivalent) such as: TFS, Jira, Jira Service Management, Remedy, Confluence, Microsoft Office SuiteKnowledge of DoD Transportation functions and terminologyFamiliar with DoD Business Systems functionsExperience in updating and maintaining a configuration management planActive DoD Secret ClearanceMust meet DoD 8140 - Systems Developer-Intermediate experience andor certification requirementsPreferred QualificationsExperience supporting specific DoD Transportation SystemsExperience with development, test, and production environments in AWS, and Azure, especially GovCloudCloudOne (C1), as well as DISA data centersExperienced with additional task order related tools (or equivalent) such as: BitBucket, Jenkins, Artifactory#techflowBenefitsFounded in 1995 at the start of the dot-com revolution, TechFlow helped large commercial clients such as DreamWorks, Toshiba, MGM, and others modernize their business systems.
