Staff Management is looking for a Retail Stock Clerk for a well-established company in the Newark, NJ area. This role is a contract role through December of 2024 and has a schedule of Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. NO WEEKENDS! $20-$22hour. If you're interested in this great opportunity, please send your resume to Nicole at & BenefitsWeekly paychecks$20-$22HourEmployment Type & ShiftsPart TimeTemporary or Contract1st ShiftJob ResponsibilitiesReceive shipment and separate vending products on appropriate shelvesRestock shelves during the day as neededStock with older product from the closet first, newly received product goes on the shelvesDeliveries are always requested for Friday; may arrive midweek depending on truckingRestock entire store shelves on Friday, fill shelves but not overfull as to where items can fall over Maintain product is neat and presentable for customers to shopKeep a stock of receipt tape in the cabinetEnsure the register receipt machine has ample tape roll for the weekMorning setup of the store; reset and tidy where neededMinimum of 2 walk thru daily 11am before lunch break and 2pm before the team leaves for the day; reset and tidy where neededMaintain clean and presentable shelves: Dust around product to prevent buildup on the shelves where product is displayedMaintain that only fresh product is displayed and placed on shelvesCheck product expiration date, rotate inventory, and get ahead of expiration for discount wall (special 30-50% off)ISS will then create an article for each item (if product is new) in the Systopia system; description, price, scan UPCPrice and quantity get added to the inventory sheetIf price changes next quarter, ISS will make price adjustment in Systopia ISS to confirm receipt of freight and bring up to the 6th floorConfirm receipt of shipment by: Inventory all items and compare to BOLinvoiceAssociate RequirementsExperience in retail 1 to 2 years.Ability to read and use UPC Codes.Knowledge of POS.MUST be committed to working.Candidate must be active and keep busy.Know how to rotate products.HS Diploma or GEDBackground CheckAble to Lift 50 poundsDrug TestThe hourly rate for this position is anticipated between $20.00 - $22.00 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the shift you work and other considerations permitted by law. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law.
