We also support the City's efforts to reduce carbon emissions through increased energy efficiency in all the properties we manage.We are currently seeking Doormen, Concierges and Porters to work coverage shifts for various buildings located in Manhattan.DoormanConcierge Duties:Meeting, greeting and directing residents and guests.Verifying and recording visitor information.Answering calls professionally and assists callers with directions or instructions for the building.Receive and process incoming and outgoing laundry, shipments andor mailpackages.Monitor lobby traffic and alert residents to arriving guests and deliveries.Maintain logbooks for visitors and contractorsPorter Duties:Responsible for cleanliness and maintenance of assigned buildingResponsible for reporting any problems to Superintendent or Management, which includes but not limited to tenants concerns about condition of buildingChecks specific areas for debris, cleanliness, and maintenanceFollows established procedures set by managementAssists handyman as instructedMinimum qualifications:Ability to communicate effectivelyDetail-oriented, able to multi-task, friendlyApplicant must have strong inter-personal skills as this position requires interactions with residents and personnelPrevious experience working in residential buildingsFluent in the English LanguagePrior experience in luxury buildings preferredSalary Range: $15-$28 an hour, or as per Union GuidelinesApplicants without a Resume will NOT be Considered
