We offer a comprehensive benefit package, worklife balance, personal development, and other great perks!Job SummaryReview status of jobs scheduled to ship and communicate with customers and internal contacts as needed; responsible for daily functioning of shippingreceiving department.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesSupervise daily warehouse operations with respect to goals for safety, delivery, quality, inventory and costs.Define clear goals, expectations and roles to direct reports providing feedback on performance and developmental planning.Support development of risk mitigation initiatives.Responsible for the accuracy of the physical inventory located onsite. Process is not limited to the cycle count and material handling but also includes completing row audits and investigating variances.Define and implement new strategies to evaluate the efficiency of existing shippingreceiving operational methods, processes, and procedures, inventory issues on a regular and as-needed basis.Responsible for warehousing activities and associates including the receipt of materials, supplies, freight; and the shipment of WIP to outside processes, finished products, according to company policies and procedures.Ensures compliance with local and federal regulations for domestic and international shipments.Ensure compliance with internal audit processes that are not limited to employee's time and attendance, quality, finance, among others.Partner with Scheduling, Customer Service and Production for material handling and proper allocation of resources based on volume, demand and or business needs recommends improvements when necessary and updates management on petencies, Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesMust have 5 years shippingreceiving experienceMust have 3 years management experienceMust have knowledge of international shipping regulationsMust understand schedulingNeeds basic computer skillsUnion EnvironmentReporting RelationshipsReports to Plant ManagerDirect Reports: ShippingReceiving Department EmployeesBenefitsVacationMedicalDentalLife and AD&D Insurance Company PaidVoluntary Life and AD&DVisionShort-term Disability Company Paid401kFlexible Spending AccountHealth Spending AccountEmployee Assistance Plan
