Previous experience required.What You'll Do:Construct and maintain the railroad track infrastructure to insure safe and efficient service to our customersInspect, unload, load, distribute, pick-up, install cross ties, switch ties, other track material and spect, patrol, construct, install, retire, remove, surface, gauge, line, and shift spect, protect, flag, construct, install, maintain, and repair road spect, unload, distribute, load, pick-up, install, grind, and transpose spect, dismantle, remove, maintain, repair and paint station facilities.WhatYou'll Need:1-3 years working in the rail industry preferredValid driver's licenseUpdated background check, drug test and physicalThe ability to pass basic track rules testContinuous mental and visual attention is required to perform duties (such as working around heavy and moving equipment), involving repetitive or diversified work requiring constant alertness or activity, requiredThe desire to work hard for potential to grow with a great company!What You'll Enjoy:Competitive base wages; $25hourWeekly pay8 to10 hour shifts, Monday-Friday(with weekend work as scheduled)Vacation days + eight paid holidaysMedical, Dental, Vision, Short Term Disability and Life Insurance coverage; 401K plan; Supplemental Life, Long Term Disability, Critical Care, Hospitalization, and Accident coverageRescar Companies is a privately held company that offers maintenance services to companies that own andor lease rail rolling stock.These services are provided from Rescar's nationwide network of 40+ service locations in the United States, either at fixed facilities or from our mobilefield services centers.#zr
