Financial Manager IIContract: At least 3-6 monthsCould convert to a Temp to Hire opportunity for the right candidate.Hybrid to start then mostly remoteMust Have:Bachelor's degree3 years+ experience developing budgets (ideally in a NonprofitUniversity setting on grants or contracts)Pre Award or Post Award for Grants andor Contracts (ideally on federal ones) financial analysis, preparation of financial reports and budget creationExcel - Lookups, Pivot Tables, FormulasNonprofit industry (could be university research)Nice to have:Master's DegreeThis international non profit that is awarded funds from various sources including private and USAID is looking to make 1 additional hire to get to their optimal staff level. The team is coming up on a deadline for midyear forecasts due on their various programs. That deadline is end of April before they start onto their next deadline. The immediate hire is of a professional that can immediately make and impact on their team. And individual that has the skill set and personality to be redirected and redeployed on various projects during the forecasting process. A key skill set will be one's ability to work within Excel. That skill will be relied upon heavily in this initial push and is key for work beyond that.Once through this initial deadline work push the role will evolve and encompass a more traditional role of working with the finances that are tied through grantscontracts for a number of programs. This work will require interaction with members of the programs that may not be traditional financial people they are more program focused and driven.
