The company is seeking a team player who can work hands on in a collaborative environment and possess drive, integrity, creativity, compassion, and a strong work ethic.We are seeking a Marketing Specialist for our New York City office to join our dynamic team in the real estate finance business. This is a challenging role where you will be responsible for the development and execution of all marketing efforts. Tableau experience is a must. The Marketing Specialist will implement every facet of our marketing strategy including developing graphics, website, advertisements, LinkedIn, and all social media.The primary responsibilities and qualifications include:Hands on work to develop and implement a strategic marketing and communications plan that will raise brand awareness, stakeholder engagement, and increase new business for the companyDevelop and refine the company's key messaging platforms for each of its primary stakeholdersImplement, from the ground up, the design, creation, and distribution of brand and thought leadership content, investor communications, marketing materials, PR assets, and moreEngage stakeholders with the company's digital platforms through the creation and execution of digital content and social engagementEstablish design guidelines, standards, and best practices to be used across the companyIdentify short-term and long-term scheduling, budget and resource needs including the development and management of an annual marketing budgetCreate materials and prepare for participation in various industry conferencesCollaborate and work directly with the company's internal compliance and third-party compliance teams to ensure that all marketing materials follow the necessary SEC compliance requirementsProvide recommendations on future marketing initiatives, as well as potential needs for third-party marketing resources (design freelancers, PR agency, etc.)Work in the office as required by office policyJob Requirements:Bachelor's DegreeThree to five years of related marketing or PR work experience in Financial Services, Investment Management, Commercial Real Estate, Private Equity, or related industriesFamiliarity with Commercial Lending Commercial Real EstateAbility to do the work and be excited about the challenge of implementing content from the ground upExtensive computer skills including Tableau, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint (plus for Adobe Creative Suite)Strong oral and written communication skills, and exceptional interpersonal skillsEstablished organizational skills and ability to simultaneously handle multiple projectsCommitment to excellence & ability to take ownership of one's workAbility to take initiative and work as an integral part of a highly collaborative team and across disciplines in a challenging and dynamic environmentWe believe that finding creative solutions for our clients comes from the collaboration of people with diverse backgrounds and perspectives. The specific compensation that will be offered is based on an understanding of the hired candidates' qualifications at the time of hire. Employees are eligible for a discretionary bonus based on employee work performance reviewed during the annual review process.
