Job Description:

Senior Level Finance ExecutiveSummary of Position: Family Office focused on Real Estate Development; Reporting to the Owner, this Senior FinanceAccountant role will work with Owner on raising equity, meeting with investors, projections for ROI, prepare proformas; as well as full charge accountant for multiple companies working on various accounting related projects and initiatives with outside CPA. Position Responsibilities:Assisting with Raising Equity for Real Estate DevelopmentsMeetings and presentations for Investors and Potential InvestorsPerform month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with accounting principles and company policiesConduct comprehensive analysis of revenue and other key accountsPrepare monthly bank and balance sheet account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records and identifying any discrepancies or variances for timely resolutionAct as a key player in the completion of annual financial statements working closely with CPACollaborate effectively with colleagues and cross-functional teams on various projectsAssist with other accounting functions special projects as neededMake recommendations and suggestions for improvements and efficiencies related to accounting functions and processesHuman Resource functionsMinimum Requirements:Bachelor's degree in accounting and an active CPA license are required6+ years' experience of progressive accounting experience, with a focus on General Ledger accountingProficiency in accounting software systems and Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point Experience in public accounting and raising private equityEffective time management skills, ensuring efficient task prioritization and completionStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsEffective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organizationStrong attention to detail and accuracy, with a commitment to delivering high quality workAble to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment
