We're trying to change the world of manufacturing, recycling, supply chains, and materials!We have revolutionary technology to transform the way electronics are recycled at end of life, and how materials are produced.More information here: Summary:The Foreman is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of the manufacturing facility. They play a crucial role in ensuring that production processes run safely, efficiently, meet quality standards, and maximize plant profitability. The Foreman will assist in hiring, leading and supervising a team of Operators; and monitor production schedules to meet customer demand.Key Responsibilities:            1.         Factory Build: Assist with initial factory layout, buildout, commissioning, and startup.            2.         Supervision: Directly supervise and lead a team of operators, including training, coaching, and performance evaluations.            3.         Production Planning: Collaborate with the Regional Operations Manager to schedule production runs and ensure efficient resource allocation.            4.         Quality Control: Implement and enforce quality control standards to ensure the production of high-quality products.            5.         Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that machinery and equipment are properly maintained and serviced.            6.         Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels to minimize waste and ensure on-time deliveries.            7.         Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements, technology development & implementation, and profit maximization.            8.         Reporting: Generate reports on production metrics, such as output, downtime, and quality, and report to management.            9.         Safety: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety among staff. Investigate and report any safety incidents, implementing corrective actions.Qualifications:10+ years experience in factory operations.Good with their hands. Handy and technical.Dedication to the mission of Determinant Materials.High school diploma or equivalent.Proven experience in manufacturing or production management.Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.Knowledge of production processes, machinery, utilities, and auxiliary systems.Knowledge of safety processes and best practices.Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Proactive mindset, willing to take initiative.Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.Working Conditions:Determinant Materials is a high growth, high impact startup looking to change the world.
