The company operates two coffeehouses in Portland and and a thriving coffee roastery, which sells to nearly 500 wholesale and a growing number of mail order customers around the globe.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Specialty Coffee Sales Representative located in Portland, ME. The Sales Representative will be responsible for sales and relationship management with current wholesale accounts, prospecting and opening new wholesale accounts, and helping to grow Coffee By Design's online store.QualificationsSales and account management experience, preferably in the food and beverage industryExperience with and knowledge of specialty coffee and the coffee industryAbility to work independently and as part of a teamExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong organizational and time management skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google appsBachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field is preferredRelevant skills and qualifications that would be beneficial include experience in e-commerce, knowledge of CRM software, and understanding of specialty coffee.
