Field Technician - Geotechnical Monitoring Entry-level to Mid-LevelCompensation and Benefits $25 to $35 per hour $52,000 - $72,800HealthDentalVision Insurance 401K and matching Ongoing Paid Training Personal life insurance Disability insurance Travel Reimbursement PTO OT Available  ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to perform field work on active construction sites that supports the projects and business objectives of the Geotechnical discipline. You will be performing installation, monitoring, on-site troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance of equipment in the field. You will be expected to show up on time for all assigned projects and tasks, generate detailed time and ticket notes within our mobile service software platform, and document all work with images. Responsible for installing and mounting devices on all different types of services in a fashion that allows efficient maintenance, easy access, and protects the devices from damage. Responsible for running, connecting, and testing cables on all different types of devices to ensure proper operation and signaling throughout a project. Responsible for configuring modems and placing devices for maximum signal strength to ensure continuous data delivery through a M2M network.    Daily communication with site contractors, project managers, and other technicians.Enter time, expense, tickets, and documentation daily, according to standards, in the service management software. Meet training and safety requirements by completing regular training. Complete and meet quarterly training and learning goals. Required Skills and Qualifications Active, valid, and clean US state driver's license.Reliable transportation to travel in all types of weather. Comfortable with technology and utilizing software and mobile applications to perform work. Must be able to pass regular drug test.Must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship. Knowledge, experience, and proficiency with safety standards in the use of power tools, ladders, and lifts (lift training will be provided). Ability and motivation to learn new technology systems and new ways of doing things. Ability to work in all weather conditions. Ability to work outside as noted, walk on uneven ground, and carry up to 75-pound equipment.Ability to work OT and overnight as the project requires. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge and experience with installing cables (low voltage, coaxial, etc. or mechanical equipment) to all types of surfaces. Knowledge and experience with installing outdoor devices on all types of surfaces, in all types of weather.Knowledge and experience using advanced technology testing devices and laptops to configure devices in the field. Ability to read drawings, follow directions, and interpret engineering and construction plans.Ability to test and trace back cable errors and damage.Familiarity with construction practices and the proper use of power tools. Engineering experience a PLUS.Geotechnical monitoring experience a PLUS.Material testing experience a staller certifications a PLUS. Electronics experience a PLUS.  Important Information Vibranalysis is a drug free environment.Regular hours are 7am to 4pm but are set forth by the demand of the client. Office Location: Mott Haven Bronx NY.Daily travel to the office is to be expected. Daily travel to site locations in the Great NYC Area is to be expected. Must be authorized to work in the US. This position is an entry-level to mid-level position with on-the-job training. All applicants that are selected for an interview will go through a practical examination at the main office on how to mount devices, run and splice cable, and perform other various tasks.
