Technical Business Data Analyst - Banking - W2 OnlyLocation: Jersey City, NJ Duration: 12-24 MonthsHYBRID ONLY in Jersey City, NJ Charlotte, NC Dallas Metro area, TXW2 only Opening - Client only accepts W-2 CandidatesH1-B Transfers AcceptableThe successful candidate will define the end-to-end requirements to support the target business process within Treasury. The candidate will contribute to the software development lifecycle of products and services from inception stage through to the final implementation. The candidate would be required to work closely with the developers to define, build and test the solution, often working on multiple projectswork-streams at the same time.Required skills: Prior Banking Capital Markets Experience is a MUST******Knowledge of Risk management concepts & capital requirements ( Counterparty Credit, market, operational, liquidity, RWA & Basel capital ratios ) (preferable)Experience working on reporting space either on finance or risk data (preferable)Knowledge of financial products ( Futures, vanilla options, swaps, mortgage products) (nice to have)Knowledge of accounting concepts ( cash flow, P&L, Balance sheet ) (nice to have)Required Technical Skills:10+ years' experience with at least 5 + years' experience as a Business Data Analyst Delivery focused techno-functional role.Candidates must have experience in OraclePL SQL or ETLInformatica or JavaExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsDeep understanding of Capital Markets with focus on Credit Risk, Market Risk or Capital calculationsUnderstanding of regulations within the Capital Markets space (Basel, CRR, CRD IV etc.)Attention to detail and self-starter, with an ability to identify risks and issues and suggest improvements.Excellent communication, negotiation, networking and influencing skillsAbility to work across multiple business groups and domainsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and work under pressureCollaborative, with an ability to share information, transfer knowledge and train new team membersProven ability to balance business demands of different stakeholders and IT fulfilment in terms of standardization, reducing risk and increasing IT flexibilityExperience building high-performance, enterprise applications at scale.Technical skills:Excel and Indepth SQL querying skills (must have with a rating 7 and above)Must have Strong SQL Data Query SkillsTableau, Qlik & Alteryx (overview and some working knowledge of any BI tools) (preferable)Experience working with and analyzing large (above 100k records) data sets (preferable)Python, R etc. (if we are looking for data analyst though I am not an expert at this) (nice to have)Knowledge of any programming language (nice to have) Client core skills:Ability to work on JIRA workflow, ConfluenceMS teams etch (must have)Ability to create visualization and screen mockup (must have)Ability to create BRD, FRD and technical data flow diagrams after getting user requirements (must have)Experience in conducting and facilitating UAT (preferable)Experience in managing PROD release and post PROD validations (preferable)Preferably worked on banking applications in finance, risk, treasury or core banking space (nice to have)
