Job Description:

The HR Manager will serve as the subject matter expert in payroll, benefits and HRIS solutions for the organization. One of the primary responsibilities of the position is the coordination and management of the payroll process and holding outside providers accountable to agreed-upon service levels. In addition, this role will develop, implement, and administer our employee benefit programs and serve as a liaison with our broker and vendors for plan design decisions, contract negotiation and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Finally, this individual will play an integrate role in the utilization of our HRIS System (CeridianDayforce) and will be responsible for identifying and deploying automation, continuous process improvements and enhancing our HR reporting capabilities. Job ResponsibilitiesPayroll and HR Administration Continuously drives improvement in payroll practices to develop best in class processing and management of payroll related activities.Serves as a subject matter expert on payroll compliance at the federal, state and local levelManages all payroll related reporting and variance reporting needed to meet compliance, auditing and internal financial record keeping needs. This includes supporting additional year-end non- discrimination and compliance requirements. Manages payout of annual incentive program, ensuring compliance with state and local regulationsSupports employee related payroll inquires as well as request from outside parties (i.e. Employment verification, requests from state agencies, etc.) Organize data and facilitate quality assurance for compensation and benefits related projects (i.e. Total Compensation Statements, 1095-C's, W-2's, Paid Time Off roll-over, benefitspayroll financial reporting, etc.)Benefits Administration Develops and administers benefit policies, training and education to align with company objectives.Serves as a champion for employee benefit programs and handles escalated associate benefit issues through partnership with benefit providers. Supports retirement plan administration including facilitating annual audit, non-discrimination testing, annual matching process, and partnering with vendors on any plan changes or updatesPartner with outside provider on the development of annual enrollment materials, updating rates within HRIS system, submitting eligibility files to providers Lead benefit and compensation reviews and evaluation of processesHRIS and ReportingOversees HR reporting, including the development and maintenance of reports and queries needed for internal and external application. Partner with service provider on larger scope projects that requires significant HRIS changesContinuous improvement of HRISpayroll services to ensure processes are efficient, cost effective and provide value to our associates. Lead the design, development and implementation of new features and enhanced functionality within the HR systems.Qualifications required for your success:Minimum five to seven years of experience in HR Operations with a focus in payroll, benefits administrationdesign, and HRIS.CCP certification preferred but not requiredStrong understanding of HR and Payroll processesDemonstrate knowledge in all federal, state and local employment laws and procedures related to compensation and benefitsProficient with CeridianDayforce systems, report development capabilities, and ability to extract and work with large and complex data on multiple platforms.
