A reputable non-profit in the NYC area is seeking a VP to oversee one of their shelters in Brooklyn, NY.Hybrid or Remote: Fully on site ShiftSchedule: Monday-Friday, business hours Setting: Women's Shelter Responsibilities:The VP will be responsible for: Clearly communicate both the organization's and funders' policies, requirements, guidelines, and program performance targets to municate with peers in other shelters and external agencies on issues related to client progress and best program practices.Work with all staff to set staff performance targets in accordance with contract requirements.Ensure that all direct and subordinate staff complies with the organization's and funders' polices and rules.Qualifications: 5+years of experience in leadership7+ years of experience in social services, specifically working with homeless individuals or those suffering from substance abuseMaster's degree in relevant fieldDesired Skills:Experience working with those with chemical dependency Experience working with those with HIVAIDSDesired Skills and Experience-Bachelor's degree (B. A.) and three to five years of applicable experienceandor-equivalent experience. Master's degree preferred.-(A license is required of these master's Degrees: Social Work (LMSW or LCSW), Mental Health Counseling, CounselingGuidance, Art Therapy).
