Our Department includes over 800 NICU admissions, 6,500 deliveries and 70,000 pediatric medical outpatient visits. Maimonides Children's Hospital is a Pediatric Trauma Center, RegionalPerinatal Center and a member of the Children's Oncology Group. Our faculty include a broad range of pediatric medical and surgical specialists who care for a very diverse patient population from the regional area. Maimonides trains over 54 residents in Pediatrics each year and serves as a training site for rotating residents and medical students. are currently seeking a full time Research Associate for a 3-month commitment who will be responsible for assisting with research and evaluation for integrated mental health programs in the Pediatrics and Obstetrics departments. May consider part-time hours for a longer time commitment. As a Research Associate (RA) you will be responsible for conducting, maintaining, assisting with quantitative and qualitative research and program evaluation. Primary responsibilities include leading patient focus groups, collecting and analyzing qualitative data, and assisting with analysis of quantitative program data extracted from EHR. Additional responsibilities include obtaining informed consent, maintaining, and organizing study regulatory documents, developing site study materials, and maintaining study databases. You will also assist with the preparation and management of institutional review documents (e.g., Institutional review board, grants and contracts office).We require:Bachelor's Degree or higher (science related field or with combination of relevant experience and education, preferred)Minimum of 2 year's clinical research experience preferred.Proficiency in computer software systems including MS Office SuiteExperience with qualitative research, electronic data management, and citation management programs.Excellent organizational, problem-solving, writing, and analytical skills.Ability to work well in a team setting and independently is essential.Strong organizational skills, problem solving, and exceptional attention to detailBilingual or multi"lingual preferred.Salary range: $27hr-$30hr based on experience.
