Through our Give Back program, we own our commitment to Social Responsibility and live our purpose of Packaging a Better Future.  Responsibilities: This position is for Pactiv Evergreen Inc.  Job Description: Conduct all mechanical changeovers including line set-ups, mold and trim tool changes, guide bar replacement, pick adjustments and control system adjustments.  Also troubleshoot all machine malfunctions and makes appropriate adjustments to related equipment to ensure quality product is produced at published throughput's rates.  Assist weekly, monthly, and quarterly PM's. (PM's consist of rebuilds of components on trim press, former's, printers, grinders, tooling and automation equipment, etc.).  This position requires flexibility to work overtime, be on call, and to adjust hours / shifts / teams as necessary. Job Requirements:Responsible for make effective changeovers ( major and minor)Responsible for supporting the team lead in completing all necessary process adjustments and quality checks required to complete the changeover and place in production?Assembles, cleans, repairs as needed, and re-assembles tooling in accordance with prescribed tooling maintenance requirements as well as when needed due to component failurePerform all mold changes, including the disconnection, removal and relocation of mold and the installation, re connection and set up of molds through to production functionManages storage and organization of tooling to ensure readinessSupport changeover time reduction effortsMaintains tool cleaning systems to include cleaning tank (changing filters, changing solution and cleaning tank itself)Support and perform mold PM schedules, as assignedPeriodically clean and inspect moldsAssist in documentation and record history of the specific moldsIdentify modifications or upgrades to address downtime issuesAssists in some daily routine such as mold cleaning and set-up in shopAssists or perform mold changes when needed. Trains and oversees associates to ensure changeover and machine set-up integrity is maintainedSelf-directed with ability to work with minimal supervisionResults focused with strong desire to identify and implement continuous improvement opportunitiesEnsures work areas are clean and organized in line with safety and work efficiency objectivesSpecification and procurement of spare partsAssist in process technician responsibilities as assignedPerform all other duties as assigned.
