Ecolab's ServiceNow Team is seeking a Platform Engineer to join their Operations team. The Platform Engineer will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the ServiceNow platform and will be responsible for supporting, operating, and maintaining the Ecolab ServiceNow instances. The ServiceNow Platform Engineer will be responsible for installing, enabling, configuring, and customizing core applications such as the Configuration Management Database (CMDB), Change Management, Incident and Problem Management, Request Management, Discovery, Knowledge Management, and other modules on the NOW platform based on business requirements to facilitate the rollout of new functionality, interfaces, modules, and other items such as user interface (UI) and workflow configuration. WHAT YOU WILL DO Perform day to day support, administration, and maintenance of the ServiceNow Platform including mid-servers and all integration points Operating, configuring, maintaining, and delivering solutions and business value through the ServiceNow Platform Configure ServiceNow modules Including Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management and Asset Management Work directly with end users to troubleshoot and resolve support issues Monitor health, usage, and overall compliance of ServiceNow Assist with installation and testing of ServiceNow updates and new releases Work with Service Owners and SME's to ensure that accurate Service Maps are discovered and maintained Help gather, Identify, and document business requirements Develop clear and concise technical and process documentation Identify areas for process improvement, automation, and optimization to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our ServiceNow support operations Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree 5 years of professional work experience 2 years of relevant technical experience Knowledge and ability of Server Administration across OS platforms Understanding of application product development life cycle, integration processes and workflow. Experience working with Agile project teams and Agile software development methodologies Ability to learn new skills and knowledge on an on-going bases through self-initiative and tackling challenges Self-motivated, creative problem-solver who can adapt to new technologies and evolving requirements Excellent verbal and written and communication skills Preferred Qualifications Understanding of Incident Management, Change Management, Problem, Asset Management, CMDB Management, Service Catalog, HR, CSM, APM, TPM and ITOM modules.
