We are looking for a dedicated EP Technician PRN like you to be a part of our team.Job Summary and QualificationsWe are seeking a caring and compassionate Electrophysiology Technician. As our EP Technician, you will greet our patients, comfort them and transport them to the EP Lab. Once in the lab, you will assist the physician in performing invasive EP procedures. If you are a kind and qualified EP professional, please apply to join an amazing team of closely-knit caring, professionals!Typical duties may include:You will assemble supplies and equipment needed for procedures.You will assist in soothing and positioning patients.You will maintain sterile techniques.During procedures you will also assist in the monitoring the patient as you assist the physician.After the procedure, you will gather equipment for cleaning and sterilization.You may transport the patient to recovery.QualificationsRCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or RCES (Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist)One year EP Lab experience preferred.American Heart ACLS and BLS requiredCardiac Rhythm interpretation and arrhythmia identification proficiencyKnowledge of EP and Ablation devices HCA Florida Brandon Hospital is a 400 bed acute care hospital in Brandon, FL.
