We are committed to hiring the best, most talented people in our industry; and we support them through professional growth, flexibility, and personalized benefits to manage life in and outside of work.  Whether you've got deep experience in commercial real estate, skilled trades, and technology, or you're looking to apply your relevant experience to a new industry, we empower you to shape a brighter way forward so you can thrive professionally and personally.Major Duties and Responsibilities:Installs, maintains and repairs HVAC equipment; tanks, pumps, timers, valves and controlsInstalls, maintains and repairs air handlers and related equipment; air supply, return, motors, fans and ventsInstalls, maintains and repairs chilled water related equipment and condensers; water pumps, valves, regulators and chemicalsSafely troubleshoot and repair all types of HVAC manufacturing and plant equipmentDemonstrate the initiative to investigate and offer improvements to plant operationsWork safely and follow all established plant safety policies and proceduresCommunicate appropriately with all site management employeesService, clean, inspect and repair equipment periodically following established PMsSafely operate mobile equipment such as fork trucks, carts, trucks, lifts, boom lifts, etc.Create notifications and follow up on needed repairs and order required partsUtilize problem solving techniques in interacting with other employees in resolving issuesMust be able to work independently and as a member of a teamInput data into Carrier's TMS work order and asset management systemKnowledge of HVAC or refrigeration tools, equipment and materials common to the tradeKnowledge of repair, maintenance and installation techniquesKnowledge of all HVAC trade codes, standards and regulationsSkill in reading and understanding schematicsSkill in analyzing HVAC or refrigeration malfunctions from performance and test equipmentSkill in installation, repair and maintenance of all systems and assignments common to the tradePerform miscellaneous duties as requiredMinimum Standards:High School Diploma - Technical school preferred3 to 5 years work experience in the HVAC trade in the previous 5 yearsCombination of 10 years of HVAC experience, College degree, technical school or formal apprenticeship program.Combination of 5 years of HVAC experience, College degree, technical school or formal apprenticeship program.Basic computer skillsPass prescribed heating, ventilation, and air conditioning testExperience with HVAC trade codes, standards and regulationsExperience with reading and understanding schematicsExperience with electrical & mechanical controlsExperience in welding, braising, and soldering processesAbility to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketchesPrepare and order parts and material needed for jobsKnowledge of industry best practice of safety procedures, including Arc Flash Protection, and Lock Out Tag Out procedures.Be able to perform advanced math calculationsCurrent certification by the Environmental Protection AgencyPass skilled trade's management interview#HVACjobsEstimated compensation for this position is:76,107.00 - 78,894.00 USD per yearThe pay range listed is a total compensation range including bonus, if applicable.
