What you get to do: As a Park Quality Area Ambassador, you'll ensure an exemplary level of guest service, including engaging with guests and maintaining a clean and safe environment through the park. Working in a team environment, you will model a positive attitude, a high level of energy and an unyielding commitment to quality. You will: Interact with others in a positive, professional mannerMaintain general cleanliness, organization, and quality of park facilities, including all park areas, offices buildings, and restroomsJanitorial services to include trash removal/ disposal, sweeping, mopping, hosing, restroom cleaning/stocking, cobweb removal, storage room cleaning, dumpster cleaning, and hard floor/ carpet cleaningPark prep services to include pressure washing, leaf blowing/ removal/ disposal, product stocking, special projects, and placement/ removal of umbrellas, tables, trash cans, benches, urns, and dispensersReport any maintenance concerns to leadership in a timely manner What it takes to succeed: A passion for customer service Excellent multi-tasking and time management skills Outstanding communication abilities Active listener with the ability to anticipate guests' needs Ability to promote and ensure a safe and secure environment Flexibility to perform varied duties Interested candidates must be available weekends in November thru 1/7/24 (please note that the park is open daily from 12/22-1/2 and the candidate must be open to working during that period) What else is important: Must be at least 15 years of ageAbility to initiate conversations with guestsMust be able to lift, push, pull and/or carry up to 50 lbsPosition engages in extensive walking and standing throughout entire work shiftPerform the following physical activities: kneeling, squatting, bend floor-to waist/waist-to-overhead, reach overhead, simple grasp and fine hand manipulation tasks (use of tools/keyboard/writing)Perform cleaning duties; including use of cleaning chemicalsMust be willing to comply with all SEA grooming guidelines and employment standardsMust be able to work indoors and outdoors, in varying weather, to include extreme heat and cold temperaturesMust provide flexible, consistent availability (including nights, weekends and holidays) and adhere to our Holiday and Availability agreement.Consistently practice safe work habits including the use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) and reporting unsafe situationsMust be flexible in work locations as placement will depend on business needsAbility to successfully complete all legal, company and department training requirements within established timelinesThe perks of the position: Ambassadors will enjoy a fun, fast-paced environment, and great teammates, as well as:FREE park admissionDiscounts on park admission tickets and passes for family and friendsPark discounts on food, merchandise, etc.Scholarship opportunitiesExclusive employee events and giveawaysEEO Employer:SEAWORLD PARKS & ENTERTAINMENT IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER.
