The way we share ideas, learning, experiences, successes, and joy allows everyone to be their best at Ascendion.About the Role:Job Title: Lead Profile DeveloperDetails:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Profile Developer to join our dynamic team.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Profile Scripting Language (PSL) and Mumps technologies.As a lead, you will play a critical role in the development and optimization of our healthcare systems, ensuring high performance, reliability, and adherence to industry standards.Key Responsibilities:Lead the development and maintenance of applications using Profile Scripting Language (PSL)  and Mumps.Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.Ensure the best possible performance and quality of applications.Solve complex performance problems and architectural tegrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic.Implement security and data protection solutions.Assess and prioritize feature requests.Coordinate with internal teams to understand user requirements and provide technical solutions.Write clean, scalable, and documented code.Mentor junior developers and promote a culture of continuous improvement.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.Proven experience as a Profile Developer with extensive knowledge of PSL and Mumps.Strong understanding of the full development life cycle.Hands-on experience with coding, troubleshooting, and managing large-scale systems.Proficiency in software engineering tools and software development methodologies.Ability to document requirements and specifications.Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.Preferred Qualifications:Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.Experience in leading a development team.Familiarity with healthcare industry standards and compliance requirements.Experience with other programming languages and frameworks is a plus.Certification in Profile Scripting Language (PSL) and/or Mumps technologiesLocation: RemoteSalary Range:The salary for this position is between $140,000 - $150,000 annually.  Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.Benefits: The Company offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements: [medical insurance] [dental insurance] [vision insurance] [401(k) retirement plan] [long-term disability insurance] [short-term disability insurance] [5 personal days accrued each calendar year.
