Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to join a leading power generation company based in Queens, NYC. In this role, you will report directly to the CFO and be responsible for managing the month-end close process, preparing financial reporting packages, quarterly and annual financial statements, overseeing treasury operations, managing tax filings, assisting with budget preparation, coordinating audits, and handling ad-hoc reporting.Responsibilities:Manage the month-end close process.Prepare monthly financial reporting packages.Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements.Oversee treasury operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.Prepare and file monthly sales & use tax returns, as well as quarterly excise tax returns.Assist with the preparation of the annual budget.Manage the annual audit process with third-party auditors.Coordinate quarterly and annual tax filings with third-party tax preparers.Assist with miscellaneous filings and ad-hoc reporting.Qualifications:Bachelors degree in accounting or finance (Masters degree preferred).6+ years of experience in accounting and finance.CPA certification preferred.Experience with Microsoft Dynamics is preferred.Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and time management skills.A self-motivator and leader with intellectual curiosity, eager to learn and grow independently.Perks and Advancement Opportunities:Full coverage health insurance for individuals and families.Opportunities for advancement and promotion from within the company.Beacon Hill is an Equal Opportunity Employer that values the strength diversity brings to the workplace.
