Job ** We are seeking a skilled and compassionate MRI Technologist to join our team. The MRI Technologist will be responsible for operating magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanners to create diagnostic images of patients internal organs and tissues. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of MRI technology, excellent patient care skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced medical environment.Perform MRI scans on patients according to established protocols and procedures.Position patients correctly on the MRI scanner bed to obtain the best possible images.Operate MRI scanner equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images.Monitor patients during scans to ensure their safety and comfort.Review images to ensure they meet quality standards and are suitable for diagnostic purposes.Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures performed.Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret images and assist in patient diagnosis.Calibrate and maintain MRI equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.Follow all safety protocols and procedures to minimize risks associated with MRI scanning.Educate patients about the MRI procedure and answer any questions or concerns they may have.Associate degree or higher in Radiologic Technology or a related field.Certification as a Registered MRI Technologist (R.T.(R)(MR)) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent certification.State licensure or certification as required by regulatory agencies.Minimum of [insert number] years of experience as an MRI Technologist, preferably in a hospital or diagnostic imaging center.Strong knowledge of MRI technology, imaging techniques, and safety procedures.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with other healthcare professionals.Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently.Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and ensuring patient comfort during procedures.Preferred *Bachelors degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.Advanced certification in MRI technology (e.g., MRI Advanced Certification (MRAC) by ARRT).Experience with various MRI scanning techniques, including contrast-enhanced imaging and functional MRI.Proficiency in using MRI software and image processing tools.Continuing education in MRI technology and related fields to stay current with advancements in the field.* $72,800/year - $81,120/year depending on experience $10,000 Sign On Bonus & up to $5K relocation bonus *** Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
