Job Description:

The RoleThe Energy Toolbase Jr. Project Manager is responsible for supporting the deployment of Acumen Energy Management System ("EMS") from commencement to commissioning. The position supports the company goal of providing white-glove customer service to partner developers, installers, and end-users. They are a subject matter expert regarding the energy management system and its associated metering & networking requirements. Deeply involved in each aspect of the system design and deployment process, this position requires a detail oriented and organized individual who can manage multiple projects at once.Duties and ResponsibilitiesProvide support to ETB Project Management efforts surrounding supply of hardware to ETB clientsMaintain ETB customer database for Acumen EMS projects ensuring technical details are accurateReview project plans and determine required metering hardware for each customerSupport installation and configuration of electric metering equipmentConfigure and provision EMS equipmentCommunicate regularly with external clients on project status and open itemsSupport external clients (architects, engineers, and other construction professionals) to ensure compliance with building codes and installation best practicesCoordinate and support troubleshooting of site-specific networking & communicationsCoordinate with ETB engineering team to support commissioning activitiesCoordinate communication between ESS manufacturers, field technicians, and ETB engineeringMaintain ETB product documentation (Installation Manuals, Single Line Diagrams, Specification Sheets, etc)Skills & General RequirementsUnderstanding of renewable energy and electrical designUnderstanding of technical electrical drawings, reports, and documentationUnderstanding of standard communication protocols for electrical device controlKnowledge and understanding of networking devices, LAN settings and firewallsExcellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlinesWell-organized and responsible with an aptitude in problem-solvingBring a positive, "can do" attitude to the positionStrong communication skills to effectively communicate with co-workers and external contactsAble to work independently, display creativity, exercise sound judgment, and demonstrate initiativeProficient computer skills (MS Office)Education and ExperienceBachelor's degree preferred with 2+ years of experience in related disciplinesSolar and/or Energy Storage project management experiencePerformance analysis experience a plusRelevant knowledge of the renewables development industry (solar + energy storage)Working at Energy ToolbaseEnergy Tool Base promotes a healthy lifestyle within and outside the workplace.
