Our greatest reward is hearing from our team about how our restaurants have touched their lives, and how they love to come to work.Duties and Responsibilities:Assists and participates the day-to-day activities and functions of kitchen facilities, food items preparation and production in assigned section and ensure that the standard performance is implemented and maintained according to designated taskSet up and stocking stations with all necessary suppliesPrepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staffClean up station and take care of leftover foodStock inventory appropriatelyEnsure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashionComply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standardsMaintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers Required Skills:Attention to Detail: Kitchen supervisors have to keep their eyes on a lot of elements: food standards, costs, safety, etc.Leadership: Kitchen supervisors must be leaders in the back of house, rallying their team during heavy shifts, resolving conflicts and getting the job done.Management Skills: Kitchen supervisors not only deal with food, they also have to deal with costs, pricing, creating work schedules and anizational Skills: Keeping work schedules, shipments, cleaning schedules and more organized is crucial to the job.Problem-Solving Skills: Being able to come up with a solution quickly is a needed skill.Speaking Skills: Kitchen supervisors need to accurately and easily communicate standards and cooking methods to staff, give orders and speak with staff clearly.Stamina: Kitchen supervisors can expect long days around hot cooking elements, much of it on their feet.Pay$18-$25 per hour (tipped position)JB.0.00.LN
