Our company's goal is to innovate in a growing and competitive market while making green energy storage more widely accessible to all.Candidates should take the time to read all the elements of this job advert carefully Please make your application promptly.This role entails growing a team of engineers, scientists, and technicians dedicated to the scale up of Dragonfly's dry electrode technology.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesIn this role, supervisory responsibilities will encompass the management of contractors, engineers, scientists, and/or technicians with an objective to drive project progression, ensure adherence to timelines, and offer guidance as required.Duties and ResponsibilitiesAn individual must be able to successfully perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.Machine Design: Design machines and robotic components for automated cell manufacturing and scale up.Automation and Controls: Design control panels and program PLCs for automated cell manufacturing and scale up.Process Optimization: Optimization of aerosol and powder-based dry electrode processing technologies.Vendor Relations: Manage vendor and contractor relationships in support of scale up efforts (budgeting, procurement, etc.).Documentation and Reporting: Ensure all relevant operational and safety documents are maintained.Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, such as Battery Science, Materials Science, and Process Development.Required Skills and AbilitiesThe following skills and abilities are necessary to perform one or more essential functions of this position.Bachelor's engineering degree in automation, electrical, mechanical, robotics, or related STEM field with 5-7 years of experience ORMaster's engineering degree in automation, electrical, mechanical, robotics, or related STEM field with 3-5 years of experience.Experience with automation design and controls software packages (ex. PLC programming language, SolidWorks, etc.).Demonstrated 2-3 years of experience managing multiple projects with 3-5 team members.Demonstrated 2-3 years of experience in project management (planning, resource allocation, execution, stakeholder engagement, etc.).Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders (executives, sales, marketing, operations, etc.).Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills to support project management and development activities.Desired Skills and Abilities Previous experience in battery cell manufacturing environment at pilot or industrial scale.Previous experience in aerosol physics and powder processing in liquid and gaseous fluids.Experience with project management software (ex.
